Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance

Hello, I have an interview scheduled with Publicis Sapient this Saturday for the role of Senior DevOps Associate L1. I am extremely unhappy with the hikes at my current organization so that's that. What would be the level of questions? Anyone has clue. Please help!! Thanks a lot. Publicis Sapient

I appreciate this post...and it's really unfortunate that I agreed to do this session on the very day the layoffs were announced, my heart is with them today as well. It's a painful, sad day for the company and a lot of great colleagues.
I've obviously thought a lot about this...you'd love to do whatever you can to avoid a restructure, given the human toll -- first, do it if you have to do it to preserve the overall health of the company, don't do it to get a one time stock price boost. Two, leaders have to absorb pain first -- CEOs and leadership can't continue to draw full salary and bonuses in times like this, they have to sacrifice first. And last, treat people with generosity as much as you are capable of doing it -- good severance, health benefits, job placement. As awful as this is, I'm pleased that the company is doing a lot for those who are being let go.
