Is anyone embarrassed by their company being on the list as a donator to the East Wing destruction?

East wing was constructed by Jefferson. Rose garden was added by Kennedy. The north patio was added by Jackson.

All of those were severely criticized by the Congress at that time. So of a million things to be outraged about including trade, foreign policy , domestic chaos, culling of social programs …this would be absolute last on my list. Unless the tax dollars were funding it. It’s an office space

You guys will literally lap up anything fox news and similar feed you. Of course you want to ignore that all of that, and I mean all of it, was approved by Congress prior to Obama even taking office. But hey, facts don't matter. Only the faux rage you fall for every. single. time.

“Nothing screams classy” more than a stained blue dress in the White House compliments of Clinton or the baggies of hunters coke scattered all over the west wing

Yea, it's so much more classy to set up tents on the lawn and bring in portapotties for visiting dignitaries, than to have a donated ballroom that will get used way after this administration is gone.

Only reason it hasn't already been built is no one could figure out how to take it from thought to completion.

Because nothing screams ‘classy’ more than gold plating anything and everything SC1. There’s a fair argument to be made about the need to upgrade the facilities at the White House (even though it’s a suitably modest tribute to American heritage and history). A 90k sq foot Trump adorned ballroom that will dwarf the original 55k White House is definitely not the answer, though. Nor is just tearing down the East Wing with no consultation acceptable either. The government should not operate with a different set of laws and rules than the rest of us.
