Tried to apply to a role at DB, gave up trying to get through the antiquated application portal... why am I not surprised?

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

Im working at a big multi-product company and we're having 5 dedicated product teams, however, teams are working in silos. Each team's has its own process, design system, technology etc. We identified that most of the teams use and need components that were already conceptualised, designed and developed, for our other products, and we are starting to create a global set of components, a global design system that we will use on all our products. I’ve been at a job for a few months and hate it - partners set unrealistic deadlines, micromanage, and create work that truly is not necessary/push urgency when there is no real urgency. I had other offers prior to accepting this job that may still be options, and going back to my old job (for a pay cut) might also be an option. I can’t tell if this is just burnout, growing pains, or just an untenable work environment. Would you ride it out for a year at new job or pursue other options? HELP!

Why did Toronto (or Canada?) change the exit signs from the classic red EXIT sign to the green running man? Wouldn’t it confuse more people especially elders in finding the exit?

Evening! Dog owners who live in condo rentals downtown.. did you tell your landlord you had a dog? I’m in a rental with a lease that says no pets (i’m sure a common clause?) and i didn’t have any pets moving in. 6 months in, i got a puppy lol. I don’t want to invite potential conflict by updating my landlord, my lawyer partner says the no pets clause is void in toronto anyway - but I worry about a bad landlord reference if they find out i.e come for repairs.
