24 yr old, 110k TC, maxing out Roth IRA and Roth 401k, no debt or large expenses. Also have ~35k sitting in a bank account. What should I do with that money?? Am I better just sitting on it for a while then watching it shrivel up in my brokerage account?

BTC cheap AF rn…

If you need it in 3 years, yes. Leave it in a high yield savings. If longer than that, maybe put it in the market.

If you don't have a short term goal for it then get it invested. You will never be able to time the market to know when it's best to buy in. If you are concerned about short term volatility commit to a gradual investing schedule, 1st of each month invest $10k until it is all invested.

Better off doing traditional 401k at your income btw

How so? I already have 6% between pension and employer match that is not yet getting taxed and expect my salary bracket to continue rising well into late 30s

Bought a house in 2018 for 75k and put in 25k. It appraised for 167k, but with the market it’s just sitting (99days, one offer that backed out bc they lost funding). We dropped the price to 159k a month ago and still nothing… my boyfriend wants me to drop it down to 139k, arguing that it’s still a profit that we can invest in the market now. My realitor suggested renting it out, but I don’t have the business experience and wouldn’t know where to start. What would you do?

I am having a hard time finding a permanent remote role. Most companies will show remote on LinkedIn but during conversation will say it’s temporary. The good ones will ask for 3 or more years of experience. Anyone has been through this or can refer me for a remote role? I have 2+ years of audit experience with CPA based in NYC. I am looking for industry roles. Salary expectations 95K and up. But I will keep an open mind given the type of benefits offered.

Thinking of making the move from a mid size firm to big 4. What benefits does Deloitte offer (401k, Pto, etc).

Hi every one how is WLB at pepsico GBS?
What are all the perks and benefits that an employee can get which are not mentioned in the offer letter.

Hi fishes,

I just got an offer from Morgan Stanley. The offer is indeed handsome and provides other benefits as well. The problem is I just relocated to Pune for my wife's work, we have set up our house here and now if I accept offer I again have to relocate to Bangalore because they aren't offering WFH. What should I do? I know Morgan Stanley is a very reputed firm and might make an enormous impact in my technical growth, but is it worth taking the pain of relocation again?? I am confused.

I decided to close down 3 of my oldest credit cards. Had them when I was 18 so they were almost 20 years old. Used them to build credit but got myself into a lot of cc debt instead. Lol

it’s been over 2 months and I was wondering if my credit score will take a hit later?

They were paid off 100% before I closed them, I have a good mix of other credit line, I have 0-1% credit usage, and a debit to income ratio of 26%
