It totally depends on the role. Some, you just need a pulse to get hired, others, they are looking for Ivy League, top of class, candidates. And it helps if you’re female or a person of color.

Every company is quite selective. Financial analyst roles are normally hard to break into. You should get more experience and do good on the interviews.
You should apply for the entry level roles to get the foundation licenses. Need the SIE, 7 and 63 to do most roles here.
Yes. But other fields are selective too. It's just that fidelity relies heavily on certain background or experience.
