Is it common for recruiters to ghost applicants after interviews?
As a fresher applicant who has been actively applying for jobs, one thing that is very disappointing is the ghosting by recruiters after interviews. The uncertainty even after reaching out to recruiters is very concerning.

One of my friend got interviewed in Deloitte and she was asked to rethink her salary ask in the HR round. She reduced it to 1L less than initial ask. Now the status is in benchmarking approval. What does that mean ? Will they release the offer letter ?
