Is it fair that a company will not confirm your probation period if you are going on maternity leave? They are asking that it will be confirmed after i am back from ML which will be like more than a year of probation instead of 6 months. Will it impact my future in any way? If they are not confirming then they can fire me after i am back from ML?

Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF.
