Random question but do you let your kids hang out in your bedroom and use your master bath if applicable? My kids always seem to want to use our bathroom instead of theirs and my spouse doesn't care but I grew up with my parent's room basically being off limits and think I'd prefer it that way.

I don’t think there is hard and fast rule here. Whatever you do, do it lovingly (that the kids can feel) is my suggestion. I do not generally allow them to come to my and my spouse’s bedroom or use the bathroom since they have their own.
If they are already used to it, don’t expect an overnight change. Having your spouse onboard with you help. Giving them a convincing why will make them realize why they should change the pattern.

Need advice and help.

I have realized I grew up in a household where my dad did not treat my mom as an equal. He belittles her, is rude and convinced his way is the only way.

It is painful to say, but some of this shows up in me and in my relationship. I am starting to catch myself, and it to me seems to be more of a reaction than anythjng that is ever intentional.

Wondering if anyone has dealt with something similar, and any success in making changes besides therapy. Cont. in comments

To those with an anxious attachment style and have trust issues due to past childhood trauma you’re still healing from: How do you keep yourself from thinking your significant other is going to cheat on you when she/he goes to a party or out while you’re miles away? It can be impossible to deal with financial losses due to declining health or unforeseen circumstances by not having life insurance. In these cases, the solution to your debts (that can affect the financial stability of you or your loved ones) may fall within the category of life insurance.
