Is it normal for y’all to take actual sick days? Or just WFH when you’re sick and try to push through it? I’ve been sick lately and feel like it’s expected to keep working but not sure if that’s the norm everywhere

It depends how sick I am. If it's a light head cold, I'll just keep working because falling behind is worse than working through it. If it's significantly worse than that, I'll use a PTO day.

I personally don’t take sick days, just how I was raised/my parents work ethic (blue collar) 🙂‍↕️

I think it’s fine to do, but it seems like most people just work remote. It may not be a full day of work and may reschedule some calls but may still get some things done. People should take the time if needed and especially not come in and get everyone else sick!!

Honestly, since the whole pandemic thing, and the ability to work remotely has become so common place if I’m sick, I’m often filled with the need to work from home which I know is silly, but I just can’t justify taking an actual full sick day anymore

Hi fishes,
I had interviewed for Cognizant and I was asked to submit my documents for offer letter release. This happened on the same day as my interview(Friday 6th May). I submitted my documents and I am trying to contact the HR who scheduled my interview, but she is not picking up my call. My question is how soon can I expect the offer letter to be released? And is there a possibility that they can reject my profile at this stage?
