It depends how sick I am. If it's a light head cold, I'll just keep working because falling behind is worse than working through it. If it's significantly worse than that, I'll use a PTO day.
I personally don’t take sick days, just how I was raised/my parents work ethic (blue collar) 🙂↕️

I think it’s fine to do, but it seems like most people just work remote. It may not be a full day of work and may reschedule some calls but may still get some things done. People should take the time if needed and especially not come in and get everyone else sick!!
Honestly, since the whole pandemic thing, and the ability to work remotely has become so common place if I’m sick, I’m often filled with the need to work from home which I know is silly, but I just can’t justify taking an actual full sick day anymore
