Looking for a Christmas present for my girlfriend. Would like to stay under $250 (I’m a 1st year staff shes in grad school so don’t have much money). She likes gold — I’m thinking of getting her a necklace, which I believe I can only get gold plated in my price range. Does anyone have any suggestions of good brands to buy? Anyone who is ex-consulting and moved to industry miss the events? I don't miss the lack of WLB, but I miss getting tickets to conferences, team events and DU.
Pandemic has been good and bad, since I guess no one is going anywhere, but also because industry office is closed so no in-house events either. Miss getting varied experiences across different clients and industries that consulting offered.
Anyone else feel like their world shrunk a ton when they left consulting for industry?
