Declawing a cat is barbaric and cruel. It is definitely not a cosmetic procedure. For a human it is the equivalent of cutting off the tips of your fingers. It is extremely painful and a difficult recovery for the poor kitty.
I don’t agree with it. Unless there truly is a medical or valid reason behind it.
I don't feel a need for it unless there is a valid medical reason for it. Not sure why people feel the need to do it.
Tail docking I have no problem. I mean in a sense removing dewclaws on puppies is still amputating. I hate it when other call it “cosmetic” it’s not. It was done for the breed for a purpose. There are reasons for breed specific procedures. You may not like it but don’t take away another’s choice to do so.
Personally, nope. These procedures are unnecessary and can cause pain, distress, and other health issues for the animal. Animals should not be subjected to these procedures for human aesthetic reasons.

Imagine someone taking you to the hospital and a surgeon cutting off the top knuckle of your fingers and toes. Do you think you will ever be able to walk or pick up anything properly? If you are thinking of chopping up a cat this way DONT GET A CAT !!!!
