Is it worth applying to jobs that have been posted for months? I can't tell if the company is just constantly hiring for a growing team or if people keep leaving because the culture is toxic. Is there a good way to tell the difference before applying?

Likely a ghost job for data mining...

likehelpful

I imagine they’re posting fake jobs ads. It’s absolutely rife right now

likesmart

Look in company website instead of LinkedIn. If they constantly keep the posting, they are just collecting resumes.

likehelpful

If a job posting has been sitting out there for than a month, Then it's probably not a job they are actually firing for, it might be a ghost job. They just might be collecting resumes and salary expectations.

Look on the company website, not on the job boards like LinkedIn or Indeed. Job postings seem to stay on the job boards longer than they do on the individual company websites.

Hi all. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2 and it’s been hard to heal with the ups and downs of a very competitive sales position in the current market. Before taking FMLA for 12 weeks I was a top performer. Any advice from those that also live with bipolar disorder, or advice on a potentially a less stressful position to ease out of sales? I have 7 years healthcare sales and 1.5 years as a MLO.

I'm not sure what else I did other than being respectful and not giving flip at the same time but (4) mature ladies in my office flirt with me every chance they get. Some of my M colleagues are beginning to notice and giving the prod. I must confess it comes with some perks as I do appreciate how fast they process my requests/orders which a M colleague literally told me is biased. Recently one of them offered to bring me her cooked food and asked that I do the same..(Cont'd)

Additional Posts in Job Searching in Accounting

Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. I am considering to start studying for the exam but I know I would need to leave my employer in order to give 110%. I am contemplating the idea of at least passing one part while employed. Then leaving my employer to study FAR. I am considering to leave my current employer anyways, so it’s more of how my future employer would view that lapse.
