Meta technical solutions consultant interview prep - can someone let me know if they have gone through the technical rounds for Technical Solutions Consultant role? Can you share what to prepare for since it’s not a data science type of role so most likely not hard level MySQL questions. Any specific types of queries that I should learn? Thanks!

Thankfully all my money is in FartCoin
If some chatbot can wipe out half a trillion market value from a company I'm not sure what else can tell anyone that this is a bubble. And the abominations done in the name of this AI gold rush are probably criminal.
Impacted workforce and budgets, energy consumption and made companies lose focus on what really matters. Their customers.
My AI chatbot PyAssist is an AI powered customer service agent that can attend to customer issues, resolve those issues and answer inquiries.
I think PyAssist is worth alot, I just need the right set of people to see the vision and work through it
I think this is a market overreaction. Still need chips and datacenter infrastructure for AI. Also, the US government will not be using Chinese AI software. Companies like Palantir should be fine.
From a moral perspective, I would say companies like Palantir should not be fine.
Western countries really need to get serious about productivity and efficiency. We need more do-ers than Talker’s. It is a harsh truth.
It's hard to be competitive when companies are running equipment from the 1980's and older and don't want to put forth the money to maintain said equipment. Also there's little to no vocational training outside of the training to run said nestalgic equipment. Have to spend money to make money to boost those profit margins.
AI is just a new Fad for people ‘C suite’ who don’t know too much about software and have nothing new to offer
If you don’t think the CCP is injecting funds to them on the backend on the low and also collecting all their data I have a bridge to sell you lol
The US doesn’t do state sponsored enterprises like China
Marc andreeson called this the AI Sputnik moment
I thought the same!
It's not disrupting any market. It's garbage and it even censors everything
And the censoring is so realtime it is actually impressive.
Competition is probably healthy, really has been the same big names and even though there is tons of competition out there already, hasn’t really lived up to much. The spending has been impressive to say the least, was looking how to get my money while the time was good in it 😂
I think the spending actually go in the way of competitiveness breeding innovation. Everyone was just throwing money at the problem!!

So now there will be pressure to lower US AI salaries and expenditures. The USA tech market will likely get even worse. Expect protectionist arguments against DeepSeek to begin and maybe some policy will be enacted. Clearly, America is failing behind and they will be trying to copy DeepSeek's work and reverse engineer it immediately.
Rising Star
PM1, ours is.
But China is the end game. But you are right, Americans are trying very hard to get there
Good time to buy Nvdia Stocks
This is good for Nvidia, bad for OpenAI and Anthropic. If the capital expenditure needed to roll your own AI models have dropped 90 percent, more companies beyond the Magnificent 7 will choose to build their own smaller scale data centers. So instead of having a few customers with big wallets, Nvidia will have many more customers with smaller wallets. Overall, Nvidia will win in terms of volume. This is similar to when Apple releases the App Store with average software prices of 99 cents. You no longer saw people charging $30-$90 for software because they could sell a lot more seats and make up in volume.
This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Most of the companies caught on the back foot were putting a lot of time, effort, and money into things that had nothing to do with making better technology. They were chasing agendas and got caught with their pants down. Maybe they'll stop the nonsense and move back to the model that served advancing technology well for decades.
The rise of DeepSeek and other AI tools has been a game-changer, challenging the dominance of those who once thought they were untouchable in the tech world. This shift has humbled the arrogant and pushed them to rethink their approach, fostering a more collaborative and innovative environment. While these advanced AI systems and quantum computers are incredibly powerful, they will never replace humans—only those who refuse to adapt and learn. This is the dawn of a new era, and it’s crucial to prepare wisely.
In this rapidly evolving landscape, it’s more important than ever to hold onto tangible assets that retain value and to preserve analog methods as a safeguard. Living in the countryside, away from densely populated cities, may prove to be a wise choice. When supply chains fail or societal structures collapse, cities are likely to descend into chaos, with looting and violence becoming rampant. The countryside offers a safer, more sustainable alternative.
We’ve entered an era where AI and quantum computing are reshaping the world, much like how the introduction of firearms and atomic weapons revolutionized warfare in the past. This new technological frontier is both exciting and unsettling. Humanity has a tendency to compete for power, often at the expense of others, rather than sharing knowledge and valuing those who lead with integrity. Instead of tearing down innovators, we should celebrate their contributions and work together to build a future where progress benefits everyone.
The path forward requires balance—embracing the power of AI while staying grounded in human values, preserving what truly matters, and fostering collaboration over competition. The future is here, and it’s up to us to navigate it wisely.
Excellent analysis !!
Well done.
File this under China fakes everything (with nod to David Zhang). Never believe any press release from CCP China. China didn't develop the AI, they stole it. and used NVidia... So all those losses will bounce back.
It is a great news AI race has become so expensive and it is good to have Open Source technology, we deserve freedom and it is time to balance the market less US dependency.
I’ve read that they already found proof that DeepSeek is using ChatGPT proprietary learning techniques. If that is true- understandable how they could develop it only with 6 million dollars
This is a wakeup call for the US to crush Chinese AI and out code them.
It won't take much. Some guy played Deep Seek in Chess. YT search: 'Deep Seek Tried Chess...HUGH Mistake'
...grab some popcorn
China makes everything cheap. What did YOU expect?
