It’s been 20 days since my final interview with a Big 4 firm, and the wait is killing me. My friends say these HR departments are notoriously slow, but I’m worried I missed a step. Do accounting recruiters usually take this long to update candidates, or should I send a polite follow-up email to the hiring manager? I don’t want to seem desperate, but I'd like some kind of answer.

I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?

I was laid off from Deloitte in the 18th. I have an interview with Amazon for a Senior Program Managers Non Technical position with Amazon hiring manager on Monday. Any advice would be much appreciated. I would love to get into Amazon. I hear their interview process is brutal.
