It's an ad for ready.gov...and it's not surprising to me at all that it lead to an error page LOL. The government is undefeated in the creating websites that don't work competition.
Well make sure you have a stockpile of water, canned goods, lighters, matches, a generator that's kept away from all entryways and not wired directly into the house. I speak from personal experience on keeping it away from Windows and entryways, oh and have a mechanical Can opener handy and plenty AAA, aa, c and d batteries, flashlights and candles handy
No it's an ad for ready.gov to help teach you how to prepare for disasters such as earthquakes, floods, tornadoes and hurricanes not your wedding.
Fill a bathtub with water for drinking and sponge washing and possibly for dishes, stock up in bottled water, have an assortment of Canned foods(veggies, soups, chilli, etc) on hand, get a manual can opener(if available find one Made by starfrit), have a battery powered radio, a flash light and a NOAA weather radio and all sizes of batteries available for the devices. If you have a gas powered generator keep it away from doors and windows(from personal experience I cannot stress this enough. I'm Canadian I lived through the ice storm we accidentally put our Honda generator too close to our front door one day mom and I just felt dizzy and tired we walked over to the CO2 detector whoa Nelly) and never wire the generator into your household Current.
