I beleive all the members of this group are in the communication and branding industry - a field where proactive communication and community participation ideally should be the highest but it's not so as of now. Instead, consulting, tech, developer bowls are more active than this bowl.

What does international tax group do day-to-day at a big four (heard could be more compliance work)? Will you actually learn the rules on subpart F, GILTY, FDII etc.? Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. What can I do? Is it that just your IT work ex they consider? Suggest things I could do. Completed 8 months in Accenture now as SAP Functional consultant.

I come across many job descriptions for roles in corporate communications preferring experience in digital marketing. As a marcom person, I feel we should know how to use the digital platforms effectively rather than literally sit and work on the campaign tools. Please let me know if I am mislead.

In an increasingly hybrid/remote working culture, how do you educate and convince your business stakeholders to not do info overloads with emails? The risk of people not being aware is there but sending separate emails for every sub-program, webinar is annoying (as a receipent) I understand employee perspective.

My company has given me a promotion without a raise. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Little background:

Asked for promotion in late 2020 - was required to skill up, after skilling up, asked again about when I'll be promoted and was denied because there is no "vacancy" for it.
Got my annual hike in Oct 2021 without the promotion. I asked HR last week again and got a random announcement email saying my promotion is w.e.f Oct 2021. ( and no raise for the newly promoted role).
