It is absolutely possible to get a good career without a college degree. Might take a bit more work in this job market, but it's definitely doable. There's a good chance you aren't doing anything wrong; the job market right now is just awful. Many people with years of experience and numerous degrees have been on the job hunt for even longer. But how confident do you feel about your resume/cover letter?
What kinds of jobs are you applying for? It is a difficult job market, but that doesn’t mean to should stop trying either. Maybe try to figure out your next career move and start working towards that, not just with applications, but maybe picking up volunteer experience or trying to get training, depending on what the next job might need.
Constantly tweak your resume, do things like having a list of your skills at the top. Make your duties into small summaries. Make it less then 3 pages, simple to the point, and it will capture someone's eyes.
