I've been considering working with a 3PL (third-party logistics) provider, what are the pros/cons you have encountered with this?

Be ready for a back to back gemba visit, process confirmation as they always won’t listen or follow the set standards , deviation management as they will always deviate from the normals thereby leading to poor quality standards , keeping up with SLA and KPI

Hi there! Based on experience, the pros are: someone else takes care of the tedious tasks for you, you have flexible service options, and you have a specialist working for you. The cons are: you have to spend more money at the beginning and you lose control over your inventory.

The cons are the costs and loss of control. The pros are you can save time and money in the long run and they can help you streamline supply chains.
