How do I transition from a Senior Executive Assistant role to Project Management? Ideally I would like to work in tech. How should I go about this? I currently work in the Real estate industry so it would be a totally new career path. The reason I want to move into tech is I feel like many of the companies I see have the same values as me (diversity & inclusion) and a good culture is so important to me.

I applied for a job and received an offer from my client. 15k+ bump in salary, better benefits/remote work, and responsibilities will give me exposure to all areas of the organization (start up). The problem is that they’re looking to staff me as a Senior when I’m currently a Manager at DT. They said they’re flexible on title, but curious to hear how others have navigated similar situations. I would report directly to the controller and have 1-2 staff reporting to me...

I will resign in coming few days. I want my notice period to be reduced from 60 day to say 30days. I am not occupied in client project currently. My question is to whom should I talk to get my notice period reduced? What is the process?

Hi Folks, I am working in infy and planning to drop paper this week. As I don't have offer in hand but 90 days NP impacting to get new job. Also my compansation is not good as per exp. So that is the first reason and no new tech learning and project change happening with me. Also in last cycle they didn't give good rating bcoz i was asking for new project ..??

I am currently an experienced hybrid asset manager wholesaler and have experience in advising as well. Curious about the opportunity with JPM and if it’s worth it. I currently make about 160k and if JPM would give me a high draw for the first 3 years to build, and if it’s feasible to sustain that 160+ there.

I have been searching for job from quite a long time and all I have seeing HR/Panels asking for
1. Number of implementation projects done.
2. Work experience on S4 Hana.

And if I don't have atleast any one of these, I will not be considered.

Is it really that important ?

Being joined as a fresher - Is it really something that I can decide whether to be in support or implementation project ?

Is upgrading of ECC to S4 Hana in my hands ? And the difference is really that vast ?

My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience. So my query is will they call me for next round?I really wanna get selected since Deloitte is mydream company

I am a senior making 105 base with 6% bonus and about 15k RSUs but I see seniors in other analysis based orgs such as go to market, sales ops, corp dev making 150k base salary + benefits. Been with company for 2.5 years in a SFA role, and they just let me hire an associate financial analyst reporting into me. My manager never mentioned anything in regards to a promotion, but when I asked, I was told that there will be an evaluation period before any promotion is given. Has anyone else had this before, where you are managing someone but they don’t give you a promotion? Sounds bizarre to me that they allow me to hire someone but then are hesitant to promote.
