I’ve been in my role for a few months now. My manager is setting goals for me and said they want me to get up to speed of a Senior level (my current title) . Are they insinuating I’m not already performing at that level? I’m insulted, and baffled.

I am scheduled to fly from NYC to Mumbai via Paris next Wednesday (Jan 5) for a ~10 day trip. Have any of you, your family, friends, etc. flown a similar route (I.e. from US to India via Europe) in the past week? If so, what is the arrival process (Covid test, quarantine requirements, etc.)? I’ve had all recommended vaccine shots and I’m only in Paris for a 2 hour layover (not leaving the airport). Any information on this would be greatly appreciated!

I have a splunk question…. When would it be appropriate to use a dashboard instead of the actual logs to validate that all changes are being logged. My client uses dashboards to monitor higher risk changes in real time. It is not intended to “monitor or capture “ all changes. I think this is incompetence on the part of the assessment team

Last night I went over to my friends house (she has 2 kids, 2 and 4 yo). She and her husband were asking me about my pregnancy and planning. And were asking what I’ve prepped to date. I’m only 13w2 days so I think it’s way to early for buying stuff, but I did mention we hired a baby nurse for when the baby comes. My friend completely berated me, short of calling me a bad mom already, saying “what is she going to do all day? Don’t you want to bond with your child?”. I’m so upset by this.

Does anyone have any side gigs or know of any gig types for project managers? Projects themselves need too much attention to manage on the side of our already busy days.

I currently work on the account management side at an agency and looking for some professional development tools/courses to help our account managers (and myself) with project management skills. Anything you would recommend? I know about Google’s course. Anything else?

Any PMs have experience with moving off of Advantage (aka Webvantage aka Aqua) and onto a different PMS? Toying with the idea to suggest a move to Kantata/MavenLink.

Hi fellow PMs, Question for the group: has anyone here made the switch from being a creative agency PM to a digital producer or digital agency PM? I.e. going from managing creative projects like TV to managing website builds/UX projects. If so, what was the transition like and what helped you get your bearings in the new environment? I’m thinking about making the switch myself but I don’t have a digital background.

Hi All- I’m looking for a super simple time tracking platform to integrate with Asana for a team of 5. All we need it for is to see how much time is going into different projects that our department is managing. That’s it. No billing/invoicing/don’t care about time sheets, etc. We just need the ability to track and pull a report at the end of each month. Anyone have recommendations?
