I've been in the Web Development/Software Engineering field for 25 years and am in need of a change of scenery. Has anyone had success going into public education/teaching with just a bachelors degree and a ton of experience but no educator's license?

Studied accounting and finance but worried about the future of this profession. Currently working in Forensic Consulting but want to leave. Leaving my current job for a career pivot. Current job has been challenging to say the least and senior management never hears what others have to say. Employment is an at will state.
Senior leadership is so unforgiving that I fear by giving notice, I’ll be asked to leave and lose out on two weeks pay.
