Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

I’m not sure how this will impact this bowl, but it is worth pointing out the need to assess whether there should be concern for those in this bowl. While we all understand ADHD is something attorneys are completely capable of managing with legal positions, not everyone in the field agrees with that. https://joinfishbowl.com/post_va66ztgmkw

Think about the why behind the question.
It’s directional, for me I ask to see where I can add value long term and a test to see if the org had any plans that aligned with the trend and if the leader is plugged in or competent
There will be times where you can only say so much to certain questions, I don’t think I would outright deny answering though. There is usually something you can say that gives the gist without divulging anything that can’t be shared at that stage. If they probe further I’d just say it isn't something I could discuss but happy to go into what I can.

^ i like this strategy
I draw the line when it comes to sensitive topics like confidential business strategies, financial details, or anything that could compromise competitive advantage. It’s important to be transparent but also protect the company’s interests. If a candidate asks something sensitive, I try to acknowledge their curiosity while steering the conversation toward what I can share openly. Ultimately, I want candidates to feel comfortable asking questions, but within a professional and respectful boundary.
If it's information that is publicly/widely known then I think it's okay to share. If upcoming strategic initiatives have not been shared yet you can be vague about it but show that you are in tune.

I ask my recruiting partners to let them know that the hiring manager can address those type of questions should they make it to the next round!
