At this point, I believe AI is a great filter, but not really the best judge to find the right candidate, so I really think a combination would be beneficial to make things faster, but with a more human process.
Yea a bit of AI, but still with someone actually looking as well. A bit of teamwork.
"Can machines really understand what makes a good fit?" Nope. They can assess the information that's present on a resume or cover letter, but they can't judge the soft skills that are so important to determining whether or not someone is a good fit for a role.
Absolutely! It's just a computer programme that doesn't have the emotions and processes that we would go through if we were looking. We would still have to do interviews anyway. I hate doing interviews, shame they can't help with that side of it.
It’s not the human touch I’m worried about. It’s that when I was auditing our AI tools I realized how many qualified candidates we missed out on because AI ruled them out. I don’t know how to bridge the gap between using AI to speed up the process and AI costing us some of the best applicants.
