It's the "loves this" for me

My base loc is Bengaluru, but currently I am not mandatorily required to work from office, and have been working from home since I joined Deloitte in July. Should I talk to my manager and go back to my hometown Kolkata and work from there? Staying in PG all day and working from here is not quite feasible for me. Suggest pls. Deloitte India

4 years because by then I know the culture, the growth opportunities, and the company has also let me know they also believe in me by providing opportunities.
My problem is that I don’t play the game. The numbers are there. Education and certifications beyond requirements. Demonstrated leadership is there. But I am horrible at interviews and definitely have a personality clash with the hiring manager.
I did 22 years with a broker as a CSR and he retired. Bought his book of business 11 years ago this year
I spent nearly a decade with one organization. I moved up a few times and it was fine, though by some standards perhaps I stayed too long. People currently are more inclined to move on for a higher salary every few years.
As a client facing role (broker), about 1.6 years in my last 2 jobs. The workload imbalance and unsupportive reporting manager is why I left.
13 years at the current one. 8 yrs at a prior one and I think I was 4 years before that. But, then, I also have a few short-term temp gigs in between that lasted up to a year. I'm more disappointed that working at one place as long as I have doesn't seem to benefit my bank account at all.

It’s a good move when you’re young. More experience and more money!
I was a lifer. I started with one company and it was bought out and I remained with the new company Until I retired.
As the founder and Director of an advocacy group for Senior Insurance issues, about 30 years , actually wish I was still there. 😊
My current position is the longest I’ve been with one employer, almost 4 years. I didn’t realize stability could be so good and yet so thwarting at once
I lasted 22 years for a crooked Insurance company but I had good leaders until the last few years where there were only political manager.
Started out as CSR (auto) and was the single worst job I have EVER had. Got myself fired (didn't meet the quality standard 3 months in a row, lol) and found the job I am with currently as an inspector for Underwriters. I have been in my current position with the same company for 14 years. Prior to that 3 years(ish) was my max at any job. A whole bunch of folks who are there have been there as long as I have or longer.
When you say "inspector for underwriters" does that mean you're a 1099 through a company like Verisk? Or like a salaried employee?
I’m coming up on 4 years, which to this point has been my longest stint. For those who change a lot, why? I’ve had one layoff and then one for a better commute.
12 years this April in two different positions
11 at my current 10 at a prior job... I do not count "step up jobs"
