I’ve been thinking about switching from weekly options to longer-dated contracts just to avoid getting chewed up in all this noise. But then again, that means tying up more capital. Have any of you made that transition? Was it worth it?

Weeklies are for gamblers in this market. If you're serious about consistency, longer-dated contracts are the only way to survive the chop. Slower gains beat consistent losses.

I heavily traded 1-5DTE spreads for the last 2 years. I recently changed to 45-60DTE and it's definitely less stress and more importantly not having to be glued to the charts with these monster gap ups and gap downs. These are very different market conditions than 2024 so yes it's about adapting in order to remain in the game for the long haul

I’ve been in that exact spot, weekly options can feel like a grind with all the short term noise, but longer dated contracts do come with that trade off of tying up more capital. For me, what made the biggest difference was stepping back and finding a more efficient way to profit from volatility altogether. I’m not expert at trading, but I have been fortunate enough to grow over 15 BTC since late last year by following the calls and signals from Demitry Jenkins. He runs a program that’s perfect for investors looking to benefit from market swings without getting wrecked by premium decay. His strategies have helped me shift toward smarter positioning, especially in crypto, using a secure and decentralized approach. If you're looking to break out of the weekly options trap and want more stability with potential, I highly recommend reaching out to him on Telegram via demitryjenkins. It’s been a solid move for me.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. My fiancé’s sister is bringing her unvaccinated spouse to the hotel where all the wedding festivities are being held b/c she is too scared to fly on an airplane without him. I find this incredibly uncomfortable and selfish given it will put me and my fiancé in an uncomfortable position (and it will also put my elderly parents and other vulnerable fam members at risk). Any ideas as to what (if anything) to do?

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.
