I’ve been working at Maximus for almost 2 years. It’s sucking the life out of me. My supervisor appears to be out to get me, effective 5.12 I have to work on site. I had a verbal warning for Quality that ended 2.28.2025. Then I had 2 weeks of perfect scores. Then I messed up 3 times. So I should have technically gotten another verbal because the first one dropped off. But instead she gave me a written write up and said I have to go on site starting 5.12.

How dumb is that?

Maximus will suck the life out of you. I find the culture to be toxic. No job is worth sacrificing your health and well-being. Start looking for something better for yourself. It’s out there and you’ll find it.

If the verbal warning expired and you had perfect scores after, jumping straight to a write-up and forcing you onsite feels more like punishment than policy. Did they say something about being laid off? You know what? You could start looking at opportunities elsewhere, if you feel that this place is taking the life out of you.. this could be a sign.

Well I work there too and I've been there for 2 months and a girl that was there for 3 weeks got to go home even they stated I shouldn't of even been sent to office in trying to find the ww policy to see if it says our timeframe of being there and if everyone is different cuz I dont think that's fair

I would report that to HR. Maximus is so big now and so afraid of getting sued or, even worse, people unionizing! That anything like that that happens now should be reported to HR so it’s on the record.

Hi there is have an interview with maximus for their customer advisor role that they are partnered with mind to help people with mental health on the phones, via email and webchat, working remotely. I cant find any employee reviews for this particular role and the other employee reviews I have seen have been really awful and I am in two minds if I want to go for it if I get offered the job. I was wondering, if anyone is currently in this job role or has previously worked as this job role if some insight could be given to what its like to work there and what to expect that would be really helpful, thanks.

I was offered a part time Internal Audit Sox Lead role for $70/hour. It’s a remote role, perm with benefits and I’m very excited for it. Have I short changed myself?

Under no circumstances disclose how much you make or what you want to make.

Tell the recruiter,” I need to interview to learn more about the specific details of this opportunity before I’ll know how much I need to accept a potential offer…”

I discuss & other do’s and dont’s on IG.

Hi guys ! Looking for a Business analyst opening in any of the Investment banks. I am having 5 plus years of experience in Fund accounting/ Investment accounting BA profile.

I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range. That caused me to receive a much lower salary than expected. Should I renegotiate even when my manager said that she tried giving me more. Does HR really play that big of a role in this?

I am looking for a new role where I can work remotely globally. I’m currently a “ministry assistant” which is essentially an executive assistant/admin/customer service rep all in one. I’d love to expand my skills and work outside my current work world (I currently work in a church). Does anyone have any leads?

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior.
