I’ve been working at Maximus for almost 2 years. It’s sucking the life out of me. My supervisor appears to be out to get me, effective 5.12 I have to work on site. I had a verbal warning for Quality that ended 2.28.2025. Then I had 2 weeks of perfect scores. Then I messed up 3 times. So I should have technically gotten another verbal because the first one dropped off. But instead she gave me a written write up and said I have to go on site starting 5.12.

How dumb is that?

I see a lot of open roles - managers, senior strategists etc. I have a top 20 MBA and about 8 years of big 4 experience in consulting - would this be the right kind of role to get into? Or is it more engineering?

2. Is it virtually impossible to move to a product ladder after spending 1-2 yrs in the role?

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. The check in line was going ridiculously slowly and at some point turned threw my hands up in frustration while looking around to find another place to check in. In doing so, I catch the eye of the behind me. He smiles and says something. I just sort of nod and carry on with my call. After that, he keeps trying to talk to me, eventually I got to the check, say bye and leave. At security… tbc

My mother in law got scammed by a con artist from the UK online and lost $7K (damn you Facebook!)

Her status in the US is currently complicated and she doesn’t have a green card(tho she’s working on it), my wife(her daughter) is American.

I want to report this to the FBI’s elder fraud department but I don’t want to complicate her situation even more.

There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.
