Im a CRC working in NYC. Have been looking to transition into another role within clinical research. I was offered an RRA position at another prominent hospital here in the city but I’m concerned about pay. It’s so hard finding average salaries for certain jobs so was wondering has anyone had this issue? If you tried negotiating salary what are some tactics you may have used?

I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud… I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. First the role was perm now all of a sudden it to changed to temp to hire after I didn't accept the offer and asked for a higher sign on and base. They are proposing 3 months temp and then they will consider perm. Before I respond, I wanted to your thoughts.

Physician Assistant salaries in the Chicago Area? I’ve practiced at an AMC for 5.5 years and make around 116k salary. Outpatient surgical sub specialty, but the same salary “formula” as my previous role in urgent care in the same system. Another AMC offered me 124k 9 months ago for a similar role - which I turned down due to some red flags during interviews.
