Recently started a part-time gig as a Computer Specialist, FT job is in public safety/law enforcement. Working on certs, no degree - Basically I’m looking for recommendations in the Civil Service or government field for IT jobs. My current job has be doing everything from ordering, installing, and imaging computers, to video surveillance installation, to security systems, and managing our networks at local stores. I love my PT job, and want to do it FT. But insurance and pay don’t come close.

Any advice for being the SO to someone in business school? We live together in the city he has lived in his whole life, so now he’s got high school, college and now B school people trying to hang out, and has no time for me. Because we see each other at night to eat and sleep, he doesn’t feel he has more time to spare for me on weekends.

Currently lm not able to decide between 2 offers. Product management Offer 1: TransUnion 19lpa with 2lpa variable included in it. The job is in my hometown so I don't need to pay for rent or other additional living costs. (leaning towards coz nice industry) Offer 2: Kaplan 26 lpa fixed The job is in bangalore so there will expenses related to living and initial migration costs. Interviewed with firm. Crazy close to home. Firm does my specialty. Seems like a good fit (I have ptsd from previous firms so gun shy). I think I got low balled salary wise. Like $25k less than what I am making now. I would have 4+ years more experience than any of their associates. Their most senior associate has like 4 kids and has a stay at home wife. I find it hard to believe they are paying that associate as low as they offered me. Probably going to counter but would it be wrong to compare

Cleared my first round in HCL on 24th Feb, Second round on 4th March, HR discussion on 8th March, another HR discussion (CTC negotiation) on 24th March. Everytime I am getting a response that CTC is awaiting delivery approval. Now HR is not responding to my calls/mails. I have requested many times to provide status even if it's rejected, but no response at all.
