Hi Fishies,
Looking for any reviews/suggestions regarding Pubmatic. Most important is the tech stack and learning aspects.
Big data technologies(Scala-Spark etc) and Java.
Also in discussion with Impetus and Autodesk (via third party i.e. Applicantz).
CTC is not a concern right now as what they are offering is enough for me right now.
Any suggestions would be helpful

As a Latina and first generation American, my parents wanted me to be a lawyer, doctor or engineer. It never even crossed my mind that I could go into finance or get an MBA.
TBH, I still barely know what consulting is about and I work at a big 4. What I do know is, I didn’t have the same access to education or mentors that some of my colleagues did. I didn’t have a parent’s foot steps to follow and I had to make my own path.
I also know that my reality as a Latina is much different than that of a White American Male. From personal experience, doors aren’t readily opened for me. Leaders aren’t interested in developing me. I’m often seen as a woman with great skills and a quick learner, but relegated to admin or customer service roles. In fact, when I started at the firm, I started at an entry level position that I was way overqualified for. It clearly shows that my Master’s degree and isn’t valued.
Companies love to hire POC for entry level positions just to boast their quotas/targets for D&I. But that’s a different conversation.
I personally know someone with Marketing degree BA that was able to get a consulting role with no prior experience and worked as an EA for the partner. Maybe it’s luck for some people, but I like to think luck eventually runs out.
If given the opportunity, I’d work twice as hard for the opportunity to advance my career and to help support my family. Instead, I’ve been with the firm for 6 years and have taken 3 lateral moves to continue trying to climb the corporate ladder. It’s truly exhausting.
I was one of the few at FTI Consulting but I really felt I was always last in line to get a new project... finally due to my low utilization I was laid off last month. It is very tough if you don’t get the opportunity to show yourself. I’m open for new opportunities!
Accenture is hiring a lot. Happy to put in a referral. DM me.
