Mention it in your interview. See who you would potentially be working for and how they react. Yes it’s against the law. Read about it and respectfully tell them the law. There reaction will let you know how the job will go. Good luck. Tell us how it goes.
....why in the world are they asking about either? Neither has any bearing on your ability to do the job. Maybe I'm just not thinking clearly, but I can't see what they'd gain by knowing your marital or parental status?
Maybe OP is applying for a job as a Catholic priest?
Otherwise I think the questions are in-your-face none of the prospective employer’s business.

Those questions are inappropriate in many jurisdictions and potentially discriminatory. They are unrelated to job performance. That would be a red flag about culture and compliance.
