Just curious, what was everyone’s diagnostic score (taking GMAT blind), and, if applicable, what did you end up scoring? And after how much study?

610 to 730 official

Took about 300 hours to raise my score, and it was a real grind. I know people have different experiences, but just want to share that not every path is as easy as four weeks and done. My path was definitely not.

Good luck

700. Haven't had the motivation to study since

Scored 680 on the blind diagnostic test, then did not more ~40 hours of prep and scored 740 in a couple of month. I lost a lot of points messing up data suffiency questions in the initial test

650->760. 3 months of TTP, 3 Practice tests and 2/3 of the OG questions

710 cold diagnostic, studied for 3-4 months and scored 760 on the real thing!

770 dia gnostic, ended up getting 760

Yea these responses are not realistic. 570 to 740 for me

When people do diagnostic, should they quickly review some basic concepts and question structure first? Seems like that would give a more accurate result.

If everyone is scoring 700+ then where’s the bottom 90% of the bell curve coming from?

What is one of the most frustrating parts of being a scientist or researcher?

I'll tell you what it is: referencing!

You have to do so much of it, and it's so annoying. You have to cite your sources, but there are so many different formats for citations! And then sometimes you don't even know how to cite something, and how are you supposed to know that unless you ask someone who knows? And even then, they might not be sure whether it should be an in-text citation or a footnote…

I wouldn't have nearly as many issues with conservative principles if they weren't so hypocritical in how they enact them.

I'm not opposed to lowering taxes, smaller government, and respecting individual rights, but they simultaneously support bailing out big businesses, expanding church and state, and massive deficit spending to pay for dumb wars and tax loopholes for hedge fund managers.

I'd rather see our government provide food, healthcare, and shelter than any of the above things.
