trying to make a move into FDD...any insight into how i should prepare, know, gain skills etc. for interview and networking!

Expecting to hear if I got the job by Tuesday but have an interview the same day. How do I ask for time to think it over if I get an offer and how do I get the interview people to possibly speed it up so I can decide between the 2? I don't want to accept and then decline a few days later.. 😩

A couple months back, I had an offer for a BDR position that I ended up turning down but I really liked and connected with the manager. Is it worth it to reach out? I applied to other positions in the same company. What about reaching out to previous co workers at a different company? Not sure how to navigate this… please help. How do you get experience when no one will hire you? I wouldn’t mind hanging a shingle but I feel it’d be irresponsible to do so with no experience. Unlike all of my classmates, I never landed an internship/externship in law school - had only one interview. I was a PT law student, came from a CS background, and worked in IT throughout law school. I passed the bar exam on my first try (Oct 2020) and have only had a couple interviews out of the hundreds of applications I sent out. Any suggestions?
