Hello fellow Fishes I have an offer from persistent. Need some clarity on same. I want to know the grade system in persistent. What does 7.1 mean? Is 7.1 a right fit for an total experience of 10+ years? What is the appropriate CTC for an architect designation? I want to know if I am getting it as per experience.

The question is how do you build your life so it feels fulfilling in downtime? That’s the beauty of freelance, that and don’t freak out.
Spend less than you make. Live below your means.
You’re a freelancer, the ups and downs aren’t for everyone but you have to plan for them or find a full time. With all sympathy, because I’m frequently in the same position, you have to ride it out and hustle there is no ‘stability’. We get occasional long retainers, repeat clients, that’s your stability it’s in networking and yeah a lot of overwork in short periods when you can book that many gigs on top of each other. I try to just plan my weeks off based around a number I’m trying to hit that year.

I wrapped up a 12 month gig that I thought would get converted. I’m enjoying the down time. I’m trying not to apply for Unemployment. Stay positive. Companies are hiring for Q4. I say enjoy the downtime.
The unpaid waiting week begins AFTER you apply and submit.
