Ladies, do you have your nails done at work? If so, what do you do? I'm missing my acrylics bad, just saw this set online and now I'm wondering if I can get away with a subtler version.

Check the dress code and ask management about their preferences if you're worried, but I don't see why you couldn't try a subtler version.

I have my almond-shaped acrylics. I work remotely, so I have more room to play with length and design because I live for a fire set. But even when I was going in, I still had my nails done, just shorter and more reserved on the design. There's nothing wrong with it; make sure they aren't too distracting if you work in person with people.

I’m very subtle and professional when it comes to my nails now. Which is a shame because I used to love getting them done and even was starting to try out doing them myself at home. Had a lot more freedom with that before, but unfortunately there are a lot of judgy people out there.

Yes I actually got my nails done before I came to work today. I always get a structured mani and usually do some sort of fun design. I can never get just one color. I am always putting my nail lady to work when I go in there hahaa.

I would keep nails very profressional. If acrylic, low length almond

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

Help- my SIL showed me two dresses she rented for my shower, and I think they are super bridal/not very appropriate to wear as a guest or bridesmaid. I have asked others and they agree. I feel like my own outfit, a simple jumpsuit, pales in comparison to how over the top these dresses are. What can I say or do? I feel really down but also don’t want to start WW3 by saying something to her. I feel like I now need to rush to buy a new outfit.

What do you do for winter shoes and commuting?

What do I do come wintertime for boots? Do you wear them while you're in the office? Or do you bring dress shoes with you to change in to? I wear a suit to work, so what boots would be good for winter but also look decent with a suit? This is my first winter in Chicago (a socal transplant)
