I actually started perimenopause at 35 and was feeling this like intense depression, like severe burnout that I just could not "fix." Eventually found out it was perimenopause and got put on HRT and after about a month I feel like a normal human again!!! Cannot recommend it enough. For the stress, if you can take ashwagandha, rhodiola rosea, and/or relora it will help a lot. Granted, it wouldn't backtrack menopause if that's what's going on, but would help with stress.
Definitely not too early and also premature menopause effects a lot of people! Would consider speaking with somebody else honestly. Absolutely to each their own, and there are a ton of natural things to try, but it was a huge change for me when I started on medication.
Thanks C1. What medicine are we talking about. HRT?
Yes - I started peri-menopause about that age. Your hormones start going wacky it’s like puberty again.
Your doctor is wrong.
Research perimenopause - follow peri- and menopause accounts on FB or IG to get better sense of the range of what people experience. There’s no one size fits all answer. You need to really learn what your body needs, and also realize that will evolve.
