Consider the venue. If you’re going to be in grass, gravel, going to the beach or woods for photos, etc. you don’t want to ruin expensive shoes! Or at least remember flip flops to change into! My Badgley Mischka shoes were a good balance because they look similar to Manolos but are closer to $100. They have so many pretty crystal and satin shoes that look good in a staged photo. But likely no one will be able to see your shoes under your dress. There is also SO much walking and dancing, don’t hurt yourself with 4 inch heels.
I also got a pair of Badgley Mischka shoes on sale for around $130 from Nordstrom’s. They were comfy, cute, and looked “bridal”. Personally couldn’t justify spending a ton, and I don’t think I showed anyone my shoes other than when we were getting ready.
I got a pair from Dolce Vita and they were so comfortable. I love that I can rewear them any time and i wore mine throughout the day into the night
I got a pair of manolos for my wedding but when the day came, I opted not wearing them for the wedding but for the rehearsal only. I didn’t want to risk them getting scratched, dirty, stepped on, etc. when I knew I was going to be running around to different places, going on grass, and dancing. They’re still my sentimental wedding shoes and I’ll cherish them forever!

Is your dress long? Mine was pretty traditional and my shoes only appeared in a couple of our dancing photos. I was happy with my comfortable 2” heels. They looked pretty but weren’t a big name. If designer is important to you, then go for it. Just know your guests likely won’t notice and they’ll be in minimal photos.
My sister opted to have two pairs of shoes - one less expensive but very bridal for the outdoor pics and ceremony, and a pair of Jimmy Choos for the indoor reception.
This is what I am doing 🤗
I wonder if there’s any shoe rental shops. I didn’t find much on the web.
I have never heard of one but this is a really great idea!
Mine cost $40 and I have no regrets. My dress was floor length so no one saw them. They were comfortable and cute. What more do you need?
I'm wearing shoes I already have. You usually won't see them and you won't see the brand unless you try to show it in detail pictures. Your comfort is also more important than consumerism!
