I am looking for a job in a product based organisation and my company is offering a 2 week client visit in Europe somewhere around oct-nov. Should I stay for that will it add any value? Or should I just give my papers (resign) and focus on looking at opportunities outside?
I need a better financial state till what can I aim for?

HSG pain level vs. endometrial biopsy? I have an HSG this week and did biopsy last week. Biopsy was brutal! I overheard a nurse telling someone else that HSG is actually more painful but I can’t even imagine… really nervous now.

Why some Managers and Leads are obsessed over faster delivery? I have found this behaviour specifically within India Based firms or clients. I mean quality work takes time. Better designing takes time. Ni bas jaldi krdo! I mean its not food that will rotten if 2 ka 3 din hogya! Seriously start the work in chaos and then later say “We understand everything is complicated in this project but it is how it is and we have to work hard to tackle this!” I mean it was you who made it complicated!

So, I just attended my first conference regarding Dyslexia yesterday. Is anyone else feeling overwhelmed and unprepared for these new requirements placed on us??

I am looking for ideas for a high school intervention class with students reading at PP-4th. I am a brand new teacher and have never taught intervention but we are extremely short staffed. I inherited the class mid-last semester and the former teacher had no framework whatsoever. I'm pulling grade level texts and trying to work on reading fluency and comprehension but don't feel like what I'm doing is effective, and the students are not very engaged. Any great resources I should check out?

What interventions do you use for grades 5-6? How do you track progress?

I am currently one of two reading teachers at the high school I work in and three in the district, which consists of two high schools. I think I would be more effective, and it would would a) make more of a difference and b) be more enjoyable teaching at a k-6 school. My principal allows other teachers to place students in my classes without any input from me including data or plain old common professional courtesy. What would you do if that happened to you?

What grades do you serve and in what state?

We have a large unused professional library that includes a variety of authors, topics, and lots of the scholastic teaching resource books. Most are more than 5 years old, some much older. Some multiple copies of titles that were book studies over the years. No one is using these books and we need the space. I hate to just dump them in a trash bin. After setting them out for people to pick through at school, what can be done with these materials?

Do you have students who need reading help but start to resent being pulled out of class?
