Hello everyone! I recently pivoted from working in advertising to working at an early-stage fintech startup. I'm looking to speak with business finance leaders who manage corporate cash and credit lines for their companies to learn more about your tools and your approach to cash management. I'll buy you lunch/coffee for your time.
If interested shoot me an email me at kathryn@crescent.app! And thank you!!

They wouldn't fly you out if they weren't very interested. Likely they will give you an offer if this round goes well. I imagine they have a full lineup for you.
Agree. Greater than not, and probably better odds than that. The expense the firm is bearing is not only the cost of the flight and hotel room, but the time that interviewers are taking from their schedules for the face-to-face interviews. Just prepare for the interviews seriously and you should be fine.

A past firm flew me out and I received a verbal offer a few hours after my last interview while I was in the airport to fly home lol… usually when they fly you out it’s because you’re a top candidate
Same
*update: got the offer !!

Congrats!
I’ve been flown out and put up in hotel before and not received an offer. Multiple times actually
oh damn RIP 😭
K&E did this to my husband and no offered him.
Ugh that sucks, I’m sorry for the roller coaster
I will also say that you should count your chickens before they hatch. You’re obviously a top candidate, but there might be others and law firms aren’t exactly cost conscious. That being said, this is a very good sign.
Only throwing this out there as I had a similar thing with an in-house job (different than this of course), and where I felt I really had the job already as I was the only candidate not in the area and they dropped a fair amount of money on me. Of course, I still did my best during the interviews regardless, but was quite surprised when I didn’t get the offer.
Back in the day, pre law school, I got flown halfway across the country to interview for a $14 per hour job.
