To answer in the manner of an exec replying sycophantically to another exec’s LinkedIn post:
“Brilliant (or, Oooh love this, or, This is so on point / This one cuts deep) — couldn’t agree more. Amazing perspective as always and thank you so much for sharing!”
LinkedIn has been the subject of ridicule for a loooong time now. Just check out the popularity of the LinkedInLunatics community on Reddit.
The entire platform has become over saturated with wannabe “Work Influencers” but unfortunately the LI algorithm still continues to push that stuff to the top of the feed.

LinkedIn has always been garbage since the beginning.
This is how the cycle always goes:
- Creative early adopters gain a ton of attention
- They establish repeatable formats that others follow (AI videos, line-break posts, vibe-y carousels)
- Low-quality copycats make those formats cringe
- Status drops out and attention shifts elsewhere
You're also seeing it with substack, leading to a lot of gatekeeping from the original big accounts who are trying to protect the brand.
If they actually wanted to protect the brand they wouldn’t have allowed it to become the laughable cesspool of fake toxic positivity and desperate to be thoughtless leaders like they have. They encourage it.
