Curious what others think about this: a friend of mine has a couple of months of leave this fall to study for the CPA exam (they’ll be paid a reduced salary during their leave), but they mentioned they have no intention of studying for the exam, and instead plan to use that time to look for another job. I've been almost 3 years in my previous company and never have I ever tasted any raise from them. I got transferred to different accounts and LOB it was so exhausting and finally when I decided to leave and send my resignation my Supervisor be like "you know you should be thankful of your job" To be honest the job was very stressful and supervisor at some point is somehow toxic but thankful I get to take my leave.

I’ve got a partnership w/ two of my uncles. We have two houses on rent. we use the profit from the homes as a single pot where we pay for the maintenance expenses (different cash flow from each). We are close family and they trust my judgement. Another of my uncles wants to join for the next home we buy. How do we split/ allow their buy in to our partnership for the next home?
