Wtf does this have to do with her rant? I know it's in the news because some idiots got all up in arms about the casting, but how is it even remotely relevant to her post??
Plus her salary post is from 2021.
For the clicks
Even within the same jobs women tend to get paid less. There’s been multiple companies that were sure and settled for this
Now if you look at the bad faith argument that women just pick different jobs:
1. Not much picking when the high paying jobs hire less of you (lower interview and lower offer rates)
2. When society keeps telling you it’s not a job for you. (Which has been mostly fixed due to dozens of initiatives pushing women into stem)
You too…? Only difference is, I’m presenting a cogent and grounded counterpoint with an accurate data approach
Unfortunately people are happy to blindly support a lot of things these days without looking under the hood.

"race aggregation stat"?
McK1- we have to resort to averages and percentile at some point, but that’s why you segment by the correct denominator. In this case, it isn’t nation-wide race.
PM1 - probably not? But is a black female shelf worker at Wal-Mart getting paid less than a white male shelf worker at Wal-Mart?
Oh, the cringe is coming from her posting something completely false, and completely misleading. Then getting corrected on it in the comments amidst an audience with their eyes tightly shut screaming support.
I’m expecting black women to post things that are accurate, just like I expect from any race and gender. And if it turns out that there is not the pay gap that people thought because nobody is posting anything, then we can move on from the victimhood.
And if a company IS paying black women less and we see evidence of it posted on LinkedIn, we can elevate it and get that terribly run company sued and get that woman what she deserves and more.
But a misleading post on a negligible pay raise due to internal changing career tracks, at a company where they absolutely are not paid less? No. And now actual instances of unfair pay will be drowned out.
Nothing good comes from crying wolf and lying.
