I've been searching for a new job because I know I am underpaid. I have 12+ years of experience in the event industry and seven years in the Event Tech world. What’s the bar of passing the first round at McKinsey like? if I didn’t do well in the same part of a cases for both interviews (ie reading graphs for high level insights and implications) would that be even worse than having different performance across other areas (ie not doing well in A on case 1 but not doing well in B on case 2)? I thought the quant was fine but i dont think i did well on graph reading for either cases. Pei was also fine and so was the rest of the case

Under contract for nearly 1.1M. Wife and I are at HHI $315k. Will go up in the future, $400k in 3 years and $500k possible in 5-7 years. We have $300k in non-retirement funds, $260k of which will go towards acquiring the house. We have 2 kids and will probably reduce (not maxing) retirement accounts next 18 months to do this.
