Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

What’s wrong with rail trail?

The Davidson greenway (starts near Cordelia Park) and the Cross Charlotte Trail (starts near Freedom Park) are both heavily trafficked. I’m a male so haven’t thought much about the safety aspect, but there a lot of residential/backyard sections with a few heavily wooded parts.
Lol that'd be the "Little Sugar Creek Greenway", I was going to mention the same thing. It runs all of the way through midtown, but stops at Morehead St right now bc of the hospital construction. Normally it runs all of the way to Freedom Park, but you have to detour along Kings Dr to get there right now.
It's pretty easy to continue from Morehead over to Latta Park or Pearl St Park too.
Whitewater Center is another good option if you’re willing to drive. That’s where I do the majority of my trail runs given I can run safely, well marked trails, and am close enough to civilization if required!
