Looking for advice! I’m exploring sales support roles where I can actively use my Series 7 & 66 licenses. I don’t have client-facing experience, so I’m most interested in positions supporting a team, advisor, or external wholesaler. I was with BNY for 3.5 years in a similar role but more back office.

These roles seem surprisingly hard to find. Any tips on companies, positions, or strategies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In offer letter, nothing is being mentioned about being on permanent role...how to make it sure

Our company is considering offering 401K employer match. We are about 200 employees venture backed company. We have about 60% participation mostly the non HCEs and only some key employees contribute. We always pass top heavy test and wpassed the 2019 ADP/ACP test. We are aggressively hiring and project there will be increase in participation, particularly if we offer the match. Given this information would it make sense to continue with a traditional 401k plan or go with safe Harbor plan?

I’m not designated a senior associate, but my small firm (boss, myself, and a paralegal) is hiring a recent grad. Still needs to pass the hazing ritual (aka bar exam). I will be supervising the new hire. Should I get them a welcome aboard gift or wait for exam results and get a welcome to the club gift? Or both? Ideas for either or both?
