I had a depressive relapse this weekend that resulted in someone I love getting physically hurt. Idk what to do other than go back to therapy but I can’t even get through the first hour of work today

Say I had a “friend” who gained 15 Covid lbs but is still on dating apps with old pics. Is that considered catfishing? She’s not overweight, but not fit anymore. Still good looking...she suspects. I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.

Is booking 40hrs a week freelancing for one company a good idea? Or does that seem like you don’t have anything else going on? I would like a good work life balance with the ability to take off weeks at a time in the middle of all this.

Tomorrow they are requiring masks again and I was almost in tears when I found out. We have been mask free (recommended) since June and I feel like we are being muzzled again. I am vaccinated, frustrated, and have been off of antidepressants since March. I don’t even want to go into work tomorrow. Anything is better than being virtual and I am trying to look at the bright side, but moving backward still burns. We have parent-teacher conferences coming up and I am hoping that it’s temporary.

First year staff and I think this job is making my depression come back. I find no meaning whatsoever in what I do and just want to cry every morning thinking of going to work.

I feel like my insurance company bait and switched me. For initial prescription and subsequent refill was $0. Went to pick up today and was going to be $500. Glad there’s alternatives but who would pay $500 for a month’s worth of pills.
