Welp I’m nearing my first month into this AAE position, and now I’m realizing why I should’ve really seen being hired 30 min after the last interview as a huge 🚩🚩. How do you get a client to move away from wanting meetings only after 5pm? I’ve had a few meetings with them after work hours and I think they now expect that I’m always free after 5 to talk when they want. I think I’m within my rights to not have meetings after work hours (of course with exceptions when urgent), but these are often just discussions that could happen via email.

just sounds like it will give the AE a raise. And easier all around to be transparent. Much worse things could happen. AE could have been let go and unemployed.

Account side to sales? I’ve been toying with the idea of moving into a sales role from advertising, and wondering if any other account people have done this?

If you are asked to help out on another account in the short term, are you often not given the full picture? I feel like I am running totally blind but am expected to manage a small piece of the acct.
