Looking to get into case management and would love to work for CVS. I have 25 years of nursing experience with most in the OR. I have applied for positions when they say accepting any type of nursing experience including OR but can’t seem to get past application phase. I have been a Director for the last 8 years and feel like this may be holding me back. I’m still in patient care but only a few days a week. Any ideas as to what I can do to get an interview?

Biz owners/entrepreneurs: Any tips on how to answer questions where the interviewer would want to know why I’d want to work for a company if I have my own. I’d want to reassure them that I have no intentions of leaving their company for mine or that there wouldn’t be competing priorities between us. I have a small photography biz. When this came up in an interview how did you address it? On my resume it does show that I’m currently a photographer w/ my own biz. I was selected for an interview.

However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then.
