Looking to shift into project management out of the architecture/interior design world and would like to land a PM role in another field. I’m doing training courses to prep for PMP certification.

Multiple courses are saying you don’t need experience in the specific field a PM job is posted for, but all PM positions I’m seeing are asking for 3-5+ years specialized experience in their field (ex. graphic design, tech, medical).

Earlier this year I was making $75k as an FA and now $90k as an SFA in OC which is pretty much market value (4yrs exp - 2 in B4).
