Is there a polite way to ask the SM if we can work out of our city office instead of the sad suburban office that’s closest to him and the partner? Majority of the team lives way closer to the city office. I chose my home office and did not expect to have to travel just to work with my team in the office. It’s one thing to travel to client site (obviously part of the job), but another to have to drive out just to work with my team. I wish that would’ve been communicated to me before I started.

Ladies, advice on sharing an office space with your spouse? I’ve been working in the dining room for months while my husband worked in our (previously my) home office. Over the holidays, he bought two lovely new desks and bookshelves for us to reconfigure the office for both of us to use. I expressed concern that it would not work for both of us to be on calls simultaneously, which he dismissed. Desks were delivered and we started yesterday, and to be frank, it sucks. Any suggestions for a standing desk, please? I’m looking for something of good quality but also doesn’t need anything fancy besides being able to allow me to stand and work… I do work from my living space so I will pay more for a nicer look.

I’m 40 years old , I’m bilingual, been in Florida for 5 years In the Architecture and engineering industry . I have a degree in industrial design, with experience in business development building networks in a very genuine and empathetic way . BUT! Now after amazing company interviews I can’t land a well pay job . I’m “almost perfect “🤔

What agencies stick out to you as having interesting/different pitch processes? Getting to the work, how the prospected, how they presented, etc?

I’ve heard of a couple agencies that would only bring one area and say “take it or leave it.”

I’ve been at a few agencies & the process/pitch decks were fairly similar. Sales-y agency creds, strategy slides, short sizzle, 2-3 creative areas, scoping/projections.
