Ultrawide curved 34”. If you plan to switch between personal and work laptop often with ease then get a monitor with built in KVM switch like the
Dell 34 Curved USB-C Monitor – P3421W
I haven’t personally used a separate kvm cause I wanted less bulk around my set up. Typically, work on 2 large spreadsheets comfortably side by side (optimal based on my preferences) on my 34 and maintain my email/slack on my laptop. Also don’t like dealing with multiple arms (additional wiring/bulk).
Personally I would rather have multiple flat monitors than a large curved one (tried it and it wasn’t for me). A monitor arm is life changing.
Agreed. Two 27” flat monitors on a monitor arm is solid.
I like multiple monitors so I can drag a window to the top and have it take up one monitor. I have 3 but 95% of the time I'm only using 2, to the point I stopped turning the third one on for my work laptop so it would overheat less. I use the setup for both work laptop and personal PC. Still have not found a good solution for all the cables.
I got one ultra wide 34 and I can see the whole spreadsheet data. I love it now
